Gameplay:
In 1-player mode, player controls the main character, Cyn and a supporting character, her shade, Cyd. In 2-player mode, player 1 will control Cyn and player 2 will control the shade, Cyd. Cyn is an exorcist and an archaeologist. Since birth, she has been followed by a shade named Cyd which looks exactly like her. Cyd follows and supports Cyn in her job (Cyd can heal Cyn). Player controls the character using four-directional inputs and several action buttons.
Player has two combat styles: with weapon and without weapon. Each style features a normal attack and a special attack. Two styles can be swapped via an assigned action button.
Player can perform a roll-dodge by double-tapping the directional buttons.
Player can use Artifact Detector, which is an app on the player’s smart phone to detect artifacts.
Scoring system features each player’s score. Player can earn score by defeating enemies and collecting artifacts.
Collectibles include health pickups, speed pickups, and artifacts. Player can store speed pickups and use whenever needed. Artifacts collected will be shared for both players.
Destructible and enemies drop collectibles. This will be randomized to make the experience more exciting and interesting.
Enemies perform melee and ranged combat. Each has its own health bar and combat style. The boss is an infected artifact which can summon waves of enemies.
Player needs to defeat the level boss and collect all artifacts in the current level in order to proceed/ win the game. Only the main character, Cyn, will be able to trigger win condition at the exit of the level.
If the player/ one of the two players dies, the game is over.
